Structures 1- 2014

I’ve always been interested in the various forms that structures comprise.  There is so much vitality and energy stored in this compact space. Densely packed around the arteries that transport hastening people from one point to another these colossal wonders hold their own above the unsuspecting crowds. But what really fosters the imagination are the many diverse architectural forms that the city engineers have so successfully amalgamated (or chosen not to) the old historical structures of sandstone, brick and mortar with the glass and metal monoliths jutting into the sky. The steel grids of bridges and the crisscrossing power lines of communication or transport bring forth that seeming disarray.

Here are a few whimsical views that are so typical of any metropolitan scene.
